contact Steve Avery - 70 AMX
Santa Maria, CA

My 1970 AMX is Hialeah yellow. I have owned it since 1998. The entire front suspension is semi-gloss powder-coated including the cross member and engine mount. It has Edelbrock solid tie-rod adjustors, poly joints from the AMC guys down in Georgia, boxed lowers, braced uppers, Gabriel adjustable shocks,  and a Carter AFB. Moroso air-cleaner (black anodized aluminum).

What haven't I done! Clutch, clutch actuating assembly (newer Z-bar powder-coated all new bushes) front and rear brakes, new tires, all new hoses, thermo, sending unit etc, restacked rear leaves with helper leaf. On the to do list in the next 4 months: rodded and boiled spare radiator, new (not brand new-but cleaned and inspected with oil pump mid-plate) timing cover, new Jeep power steering pump with Nascar aluminum pulley, Mopar hi-po clutch cooling fan and clutch, aluminum water pump, higher pressure oil pump kit, slightly used double roller timing set, new cam (mild-just past an RV grind), new adjustable rocker studs, chrome-moly roller rockers, hardened push-rods, guide plates, older Edel dual plane Performer with home-made Air-Gap mod, phenolic spacer plate, stainless mount studs, re-curved distributor with base pertronix kit (first generation Pertronix), new lifters, powder-coated pulleys, engine restoration in a can (repaint heads and block portions, clean battery acid damage from fire-wall and header brace, detail engine bay, header brace, and frame rails with Eastwood paint, put new bushings in front of rear leafs and back (poly) rebush rear traction links. Straighten rear frame rails.
