I bought this 1974 Javelin back in 1994. I had been looking for a car to tinker with. A good friend called one day and told me that he had seen this Javelin for sale. He knew I had owned one a few years ago and how much I liked it. I went and looked at it and after a little haggling I bought it.
The car was dirty and ugly, half the vinyl top was missing and it ran bad. After driving it I figured out all it needed was a good tune-up. I got it home and tuned it up, then got out the golden screwdriver, made a few adjustments, and it ran like a top.
Then it was time to get out the rubbing compound and get to work. What you see in the pictures is what I got, my wife was amazed. It now has a new top, new exhaust and other odds and ends. It is still a work in progress.
