I've owned the car about 6 years and I'm the fourth owner. I saw it in an L.A. Times ad. The original color was orange and was painted red by a previous owner.
The car has a 343C.I., 4 speed, "twin-grip" differential, factory go-pak, (Edelbrock hi-rise manifold, Holly double pumper, Hooker headers, and Hurst shifter.) Replaced the points with Mallory unilite optical pickup.
Performance Associates in San Dimas dyno'd the car, now it runs strong. Will be adding MSD distributor, coil, and control box. I've had it out to Irwindale's 1/8 mile strip--too much power, not enough traction!
