About SoCalAMX.Net

Hi, my name is Mark and I've owned a 1969 AMX since the summer of '77 when I graduated from high school. For many of the past years the car has seen few miles on the road while it sat in the garage. Recently I've felt a resurgence of interest in the muscle cars from the 60's, and felt it was time to get my AMX back on the road.

I know there have to be many AMX's and Javelins hidden in garages and driveways around Southern California, and thought it'd be great to get as many of these cars together again. But how? Where are they? Through the Internet I think we can find many of these "lost" gems and bring them together again.

First off, I'd like to try and document as many of the AMX's and Javelins in the area by placing them on this web site,  so that everybody has a general idea as to the numbers of cars left here. Secondly I'd like to get as many of the "found" AMX & Javelin owners as possible to sign up for and use the Yahoo Groups email messaging system. It's free and easy to use, and will allow us to keep in contact with each other, and arrange and promote get-togethers from time to time.

If your car has AMX or Javelin on the side, regardless of the year, then let's get your car documented here.

Thank you, Mark
